How to get to Naperville
By Road:
Naperville is 28 miles west of downtown Chicago on I-88. Take the Washington
Street exit from route I-88.
By Air:
Chicago O'Hare International Airport is 13
miles from Naperville. Taxis to Naperville cost around $40 for a one way
journey. Chicago Midway Airport is 25
miles from Naperville.
By Train:
BNSF Metra
provides Naperville with some of the best commuter train service to downtown
Chicago in the Chicagoland area. Naperville Station is located at 5th avenue in
downtown Naperville. Naperville is on the BNSF Metra line with regular express
and local trains to and from Chicago and Aurora. Naperville is also an
Amtrak stop for inter-state services.
By Bus:
Pace is the provider of
bus service in the Chicagoland suburbs. Pace provides rush hour service to and
from the Naperville and Lisle train stations and other areas of the city. All
Pace buses are wheelchair accessible and have racks accommodating two bicycles,
available during all hours of operation. Pace buses provide service from the
suburbs to various special events in the city such as Bears and Cubs games.
