Access D.C. 2011

Putting America Back to Work

May 23 - 25, 2011

The decisions officials make in Washington, D.C., directly impact the business climate. Join your fellow Members, board members and Chamber staff as they visit the nation’s Capitol to directly engage with decision-makers and elected officials. Access D.C. takes place Monday, May 23, through Wednesday, May 25.

In addition to visits with elected officials, attendees will participate in the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's small business summit, featuring sessions with retired Army Gen. Stanley McCrystal; Sen. Jon Kyle, R-Ariz.; Grady Burnett, vice president of global marketing for Facebook; and many more. You can view a complete list of summit speakers at http://www.uschambersummit.com/speakers.

You must reserve your spot in the Chamber’s delegation by Monday, May 9, to participate. To reserve your spot or to learn more about expected costs, contact Patrick Skarr, vice president of advocacy, at 630-544-3368.

America's small business owners are key to our economic recovery. But a dramatic increase in burdensome regulations across a range of issues - including health care, financial markets, energy, and labor - is causing tremendous uncertainty for business owners, making it nearly impossible to plan for and invest in the future.

It's more important than ever that elected officials understand the challenges facing small businesses. Now is the time to speak out for policies that support small businesses as they work to drive economic growth and create deperately needed jobs.

Join delegations of small business owners, managers, and local chamber and association leaders from communities across the United State in Washington, D.C., at America's Small Business Summit 2011 from May 23 to 25 to network, learn, and advocate for small business.

Your voice is important - make sure that it is heard!
