Congratulations to this year's winners!
• Anderson’s Bookshop earned overall Small Business of the Year honors, as well as Outstanding Business in the Retail category;
• ARDS Services, Inc. won the Outstanding Business in the Business to Business category;
• Expert Plumbing Heating and Electrical won Outstanding Business in Business to Consumer category;
• Advanced Health of Naperville won Outstanding Business in the Professional category; and
• The winner of the Not-For-Profit of the Year was LifeSource Blood Services.
For 13 years the Small Business of the Year Awards have been the 'Academy
Awards' for business in the Naperville region.
The Small Business of the Year Award is designed to do more than recognize and applaud truly outstanding small business organizations within the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce. This is an opportunity to review the best business practices of successful entrepreneurs and set a benchmark of excellence for the years to come.
A few changes to this year’s awards include eligibility and award categories. The award categories have changed for this year’s Small Business of the Year Award. The categories are Business to Business, Business to Consumer, Professional, Not-For-Profit, Retail and Excellence in Business (businesses under 5 years old). Chamber Members can nominate themselves or another Member for the award in any of these categories.
