Small Business of the Year Panel
Learn from your peers at the Chamber's September Luncheon featuring the Best of Small Business Panel. The discussion at the luncheon, to be lead by Ray Kinney, Minuteman Press, will give you insight into what the best small businesses in the Chamber are doing to survive in the current market conditions.
The Best of Small Business Panel comprised of the 2009 Small Business of the Year Award Winner and Category Winners, will offer you food for thought on how to improve your business in these current times, and how they are running and improving their business with the Chamber's membership.
The Small Business Panel will also discuss what they learned from being apart of the Small Business of the Year Awards. They will let you know there insight on how to put together an award winning packet.
On the panel will be Small Business of the Year Winner Kris Hartner, Naperville Running Company; Deb Lellbach, Lellbach Builders, 1-5 Employee Category; Bob Hursthouse, Hursthouse, Inc., 31-99 Employee Category; Lucy Green, Visiting Angels, 100+ Employee Category.
The can't-miss event of the Chamber's monthly calendar is our General Membership Luncheon. Significant speakers who have attended recent luncheons include former Illinois Governor Jim Edgar, US Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Thomas Donohue and noted futurist Rebecca Ryan. Each month's event is an excellent chance for networking and for hearing discussion on topics of interest to the business community.
