o Trends impacting governance & fundraising in the nonprofit sector
o How to recruit the type of board members you need
o Why the board is an important part of the successful fundraising team
o How board and staff can work collaboratively for fundraising success
o The stages of board evolution that impact board effectiveness
o Why great boards recruit 12 months a year from a board profile
o Why a current board Expectation Statement is critical for recruitment
o Why term limits are essential for a fundraising board
o Why you need to strategically engage former board members
o How board members can help with planned giving
o How to help your board articulate your organization's value to the community
