Journey to Reinvention

Seven years ago, professional speaker Mary Kay Slowikowski had to redefine herself after suffering from five years of constant migraine headaches. As a part of her recovery, she engaged on a journey of reinvention. Along the way, she learned three key steps:
1) Start with your purpose. Find aspirations that will recreate your career, yourself and your life.
2) How to make the change, recognize the difficulties and find the solutions. For change to happen, a goal or reason to modify is required to be effective. Follow the Framework for Change.
3) How to be forward-thinking and find innovative ways to reinvent one self. We need to learn how to organize and match what is possible with what is necessary. Balance the practical with the possible. Mary Kay Slowikowski is an internationally known speaker and the first female speaker to appear nationally in her own Emmy-nominated PBS special.
