"State of the City Address"

The Annual 'State of the City' Luncheon will be held on Monday, January 25th at the Holiday Inn Select Naperville. Mayor A. George Pradel will take a look back at 2008 and ahead to the opportunities and challenges facing the City of Naperville in 2010. This luncheon presentation is one of the most popular and most attended General Membership Luncheons of the year.
Mayor A. George Pradel is a long-time resident of Naperville and attended what is now Naperville Central High School. Joining the Naperville Police Department in 1966, he spent much of his career visiting schools and speaking to children as "Officer Friendly." In 1977, he was asked to be the first teacher at Naperville's Safety Town. Being elected Mayor in 1995, George Pradel continues to be a friend to the Chamber with his continuous support and participates in cutting
the ribbon at Member Ribbon Cuttings throughout the year.
