The Legislative Committee is the starting point for the "Voice of Business," where we work diligently to promote the local, state and federal legislative interests of the business community. The Chamber's involvement in statewide legislative issues has elevated this committee's presence, not only in the community but also in Springfield, where Naperville's opinions are being sought and heard.
The Legislative Committee furthers the Chamber’s mission by advocating governmental business concerns on behalf of Chamber members. The basis for work is a Board approved Initiatives & Positions and Agenda for Advocacy. The committee reviews and assesses governmental business issues that are brought to the Committee, promotes and communicates those issues and interests to decision makers in government, Membership, and community.
