The nominees are in for the Chamber's annual Small Business of the Year Awards! Thank to you all of our area businesses for their hard work and dedication, you are all deserving of recognition for the quality of service you bring to our region. This year we had an overwhelming response with 45 businesses nominated! The Chamber would also like to thank BMO Harris Bank for sponsoring the 15th annual Small Business of the Year Awards.

The Small Business of the Year (SBY) Award is the highest entrepreneurial honor the Chamber awards its Members. It is the business community's way of recognizing outstanding work done of, for and by the Members.

The SBY Awards are divided into six categories: Business to Business, Business to Consumer, Professional, Not-for-Profit, Retail, and Excellence in Business. Members nominate one another for the awards. Once nominations are submitted, the winners are selected by the blue-ribbon committee-a panel of last year's winners.

The awards gala will take place on Friday, May 18, from 6-10 p.m. at the Chicago Marriott Naperville, located at 1801 Naper Boulevard. We hope you all will register and join us to congratulate our winners!
