Dear Members:

The Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors Executive Committee is pleased to announce that Tami Andrew has been named Interim President and CEO of the Chamber. Tami has been the Vice President of Operations and Member Services for the Chamber since 2009 and will continue to run the day-to-day operations and report to the Board of Directors.

Tami has been a key member of the Chamber leadership team during the last three years and has played an integral role in identifying and developing our award winning staff. As we all know, it takes a great team to be an award-winning business and it takes a great staff and active membership to have a 5-Star Chamber of Commerce. We look forward to working with Tami during this time of transition.

Chair elect Cathy Subber is in the process of forming a search committee to identify candidates to fill the permanent president and CEO position. If you have any suggestions on filling the position please forward your thoughts to Cathy’s attention at the Chamber office.

During June, we start our search for candidates for the 2013 Board of Directors. If you are interested in serving on the board please send your resume to my attention at shane.beard@fastsigns.com or to Tami Andrew tandrew@naperville.net. Our nominating committee is almost assembled and our Board will have 10 seats open at the end of this calendar year. Past Chamber board members are also welcome to apply, as our bylaws allow for multiple terms. We have several current board members that have served previous terms and their dedication and experience is greatly appreciated.

The Board of Directors would like to thank the staff for their continued support during this transitional period. And thanks to you, our members, for your membership.
