Thank you for your continued membership and support. As you know, over the past few weeks the Chamber has undergone a transition of leadership, but our focus remains the same: we will measure our ultimate success by your success.

While the near-term national economic outlook is uncertain, we should not be deterred. Throughout the Chamber's history, generations of outstanding business leaders have believed that being proactive and controlling our destiny is the best strategy for progress, in any economy.

The last quarter century has seen our local business community transform itself into an commercial powerhouse. This economic evolution provides for the high quality of life that defines our community today. And, of course, to remain vibrant, we must continually improve, grow and change.

Along the way, we'll hit some bumps in the road and have to deal with events that are out of our control. But through it all, we, the business community, will continue to create an environment that fosters prosperity and economic security for our employees, customers and community.

The Chamber, and its 1,500 Members, is an organization that harnesses and draws together thousands of different businesses of every size and sector. You choose to invest your time and talents in the Chamber for a number of reasons. However, we are all united by a common desire to attain individual achievement, expand our businesses, and contribute positively to our community.

The Chamber's staff and I are committed to you. It is our privilege and honor to work for one of the best Chamber's in the nation. We are a 5-Star Chamber of Commerce because of you, our extraordinary Members.

This period of transition will not slow us in our efforts to work with the membership to find new ways to provide additional value and returns on your membership investment. We will continue to grow and improve our product offerings. Your business doesn't rest and the Chamber won't either.
