Small Business of the Year Awards

For over 15 years the Small Business of the Year Awards have been the 'Academy Awards' for business in the Naperville region.

Entering its 16th year, the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year Awards rthe premier recognition program of small businesses in the western suburbs. Several winners of the award have gone on to win national acclaim. The highlight of the Small Business of the Year Awards is a gala event where category finalists and an overall small business of the year, is named.

The Small Business of the Year Award is designed to do more than recognize and applaud truly outstanding small business organizations within the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce. This is an opportunity to review the best business practices of successful entrepreneurs and set a benchmark of excellence for the years to come.

Past Winners:

Every May the Chamber hosts the Small Business of the Year Awards to recognize the outstanding small businesses in our community and organization. Nominated business compete to be named the top business in their category and one of the category winners is named the overall Small Business of the Year by the Chamber. The black-tie gala event also includes the presentation of a Lifetime Achievement Award to an individual for their contributions to our community, as well as the naming of a not-for-profit of the year. Attended by several hundred individuals, the ceremony is one of the largest events the Chamber hosts.
