The Chamber offers several
opportunities for Members to grow and develop
professionally, enhancing their abilities as leaders and
contributors to our business community.
Many of the more than 600 graduates of the Chamber’s
annual Community Leadership Program have taken on
important roles in the Naperville Area. By teaching about
the community’s history, planning, and inner workings, the
program helps create the next generation of professional
leaders. Building on the knowledge imparted by the
Community Leadership Program, the Leadership Academy
works to further develop the skills of future pacesetters in
our community.
Chamber seminars have included presentations by
marketing guru Jay Conrad Levinson and motivational speaker
and authors Jack Canfield and Jeffrey Gitomer, as well as
other noted authors and speakers that provide insight and
inspiration for Members.
Business/Education Partnerships are cooperative
endeavors between schools and businesses, in which resources
(human, material, or financial) are shared with the ultimate
objective of promoting the schools’ interests and providing
students with learning opportunities they would not find in
the classroom.
Another program providing opportunities to high school
students is called Career Insights, a program
designed to help high school students explore potential
careers through presentations, site tours, mentoring,
internships, and more.
The Chamber’s educational offerings can assist with
Certification and Accreditation. Certified Public
Accountants may utilize them to meet the required 120 hours
of continuing professional education to renew the Public
Accountant License. Certain programs also meet the
requirements for CFP’s.
The Chamber’s Speakers’ Bureau
provides qualified speakers to the Naperville
community on a wide variety of topics, including business
development, communications skills, health & wellness, sales
& marketing, and more. These previewed speakers offer the
first hour of their service at no charge. Ambassador University offers the knowledge
necessary for each Ambassador to be successful. |
