mission of Women in Business is to help
businesswomen connect and collaborate to be successful in
their business endeavors.
The
goals are to:

Recruit Chamber members

Increase networking opportunities
·
Provide education
·
Generate new business
·
Provide leadership and mentoring to the
business community
The Women in Business committee meets once a month to organize
the programming for each WIB Breakfast. The Breakfasts occur
the first Wednesday of the month at various locations.

Women Who Inspire
Is there a woman you know who has inspired you?
Are you in awe of the accomplishments of
someone? It could be a specific accomplishment
as relates to their business endeavors or
through philanthropic efforts. It could be this
individual has overcome significant obstacles to
become successful in her career. If there is
someone you would like to nominate for the Women
in Business "Women Who Inspire" Award,
download the nomination form and submit it
to the Chamber. Please be sure to obtain
permission of the individual before submitting.
The successful nominee will be recognized at the
Women in Business breakfast.

rebuilding
efforts
after
the
devastation
of
Hurricane
Katrina.
Earlier
this
year
Cathy
traveled
with
other
volunteers
to Pass
Christian
Mississippi,
to work
on the
house
currently
being
built by
Naperville
Responds;
and as
owner of
Ryan
Hill
Realty,
Teresa
matched
donations
made by
realtors
and a
presented
a check
for
$38,000
to
assist
with the
rebuilding
efforts. But it’s not all about money, it takes time and it takes dedication, and these two ladies are making a difference."
