Inventor Thomas Alva Edison once remarked, “Good fortune is what happens when opportunity meets with planning.” Many of the business leaders I’ve spoken with over the past several weeks believe that our economy is turning around. Many of us had great plans and strategies that have been great at catching dust on our desks as we dealt with survival during the recession.

Annual Golf Outing Sponsorships Now Available
The Chamber's annual golf outing, one of the largest in the area, is scheduled for Monday, June 28, and will be held at Cress Creek Country Club. There are plenty of sponsorship opportunities now available for this year’s golf outing. An Eagle Sponsorship for an exclusive hole is available for $700. A Birdie Sponsorship for sharing a Hole with other Sponsors is available for $500. Also available for $500 is an Ace Sponsorship. This is where you provide a hole-in-one prize on an exclusive hole, as well as provide your logo for our program book. For all of these sponsorships you will receive recognition throughout Chamber Communications and our event program book.

 

Green Leadership Council Meeting
The next Green Leadership Council meeting will be held on Monday, May 24 in Conference Room A of the Chamber Offices at 7:30 a.m. The Chamber would like to encourage all Members to attend that are interested in sustainable business practices and additional networking opportunities. This meeting will also include a complimentary breakfast and presentations from Kate Shrank of Sustainability Partners, Inc. and Michelle Hickey from Community Energy.

The Business Development TEAM wants to invite you to this unique networking event forum - designed to highlight your unique attributes and facilitate the connection with other business owners, executives, and entrepreneurs. There is no cost for this event, but please register online.

Health Care Professionals Network
On Thursday, May 20th, from 11:30am - 1pm in Conference Room A at the Chamber office (55 E. Main St. Naperville) we will have a visitor's day for the 'HealthCare Hub'. The goals of the group are to allow professionals to: Form Professional Relationships with Other Providers and, to Work together to Educate the Community on their Health Care Options. Lunch will be provided by Sunrise Assisted Living. Space is limited to 45 people, so if you are planning to attend, please RSVP to Jamie Glaser at naperville.dcr@sunriseseniorliving.com.
