September Membership Luncheon: DuPage County Board Chairman Dan Cronin
Will Deliver State of the County Address
DuPage County Board Chairman Dan Cronin will deliver a State of the County address during the Naperville Chamber’s General Membership Luncheon on Monday, September 24 at the Chicago Marriot Naperville. This luncheon typically draws a large crowd; please reserve your seat in advance.
“We are honored to have Chairman Cronin provide an update on the efforts to transform DuPage Count to ensure every tax dollar is put to its highest and best use,” said Tami Andrew, interim president & CEO of the Naperville Area Chamber.
Chairman Cronin will provide an update on his mission to achieve greater accountability and efficiencies in local government. The County recently released financial and operational evaluations of 24 non-elected taxing bodies. Following the assessment, Chairman Cronin unveiled the DuPage ACT Initiative – Accountability, Consolidation and Transparency, that serves as a roadmap for agencies to follow in an effort to better comply with DuPage County policies.
“The Chamber enthusiastically supports the County’s new culture of reform, believing that these changes improve the economic climate and make it easier for our business community to grow,” concludes Andrew.
The Luncheon will be held at the Chicago Marriot Naperville, 1801 N. Naper Blvd., from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets cost $25 for members who pre-register or $30 at the door. Tickets for nonmembers are $35. Registrations can be made online at www.naperville.net or by calling 630-355-4141.
The Chamber's monthly General Membership Luncheon is an opportunity to network with hundreds of fellow Chamber Members and for hearing discussion on topics of interest to the business community.
