The Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce invites you to join us for Destination Springfield 2012 on Tuesday, April 17.
It is Employer Action Day at the capitol where Chamber and business leaders from across the state will attend a joint session of the Illinois Chamber and National Federation of Independent Businesses, to speak with one voice to our officials in Springfield.
Our featured speaker this year is Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker. This presentation will provide Members with the opportunity to hear from the chief executive of a neighboring state and learn how his administration is handling the issues of deficit reduction, budget sustainability, and regulatory reform, while improving the business climate.
Destination Springfield is the Chamber’s annual trip to Springfield and we need your participation to make it successful. You can make it a day trip or spend the evening. The cost to participate in the trip is $59. When you register online with the Naperville Chamber, your conference registration, which includes the keynote lunch and other informative panel discussions, is automatically taken care of.
Due to the high profile speaker extra security measures are being taken by the Illinois Chamber to ensure a safe environment. You are encouraged to register early and enable your participation.
Make a Night of It - Join Business Leaders From Across Illinois for an Evening Reception
In addition to a day packed with speakers and visits to the capitol, you’re invited to join a reception hosted by the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce, Associated Builders and Contractors of Illinois and the Illinois Chamber on the evening of April 17.

Hotel Accommodations
A block of hotel rooms at the President Lincoln Hotel in Springfield has been secured for Members attending Destination Springfield 2012. The room rate is $135 plus taxes and individuals will pay the hotel directly. Note, there is very limited space in the Chamber’s room block.
