Beth Carter
Bio
Beth is a classic Type A personality and probably
the only person in Sister Mary Leo’s 4th grade English class who actually enjoyed
diagramming sentences. Luckily for her, these two traits make her a terrific writer,
which she’s been doing for various businesses, government agencies, and non-profit
organizations for over ten years.
She has a Master of Public Policy degree, which
she most interestingly put to work with the US Department of State at our embassy
in Tokyo, Japan. Working in the government not only helped Beth appreciate really
bad writing, but also taught her how to take mounds of useless data and uncover
the one or two true gems of information.
Beth is the Marketing Director for the children’s
theater group Kidz Kabaret, has analyzed financial statements and business plans
for clients with Aon Trade Credit, was a contributing editor on Suite101.com, and
has published articles all over the Internet.
Through her company, Freelance Writing Solutions,
Beth helps her clients create a polished public image through strong writing. Nothing
makes her happier than a well-crafted sentence (well, except for a clean house),
and she loves sharing her passion for writing with her audiences.
