Employee Parking:
As you know, parking in downtown
Naperville is at a premium. As a matter of
hospitality, the surface lots and street parking
should be reserved for customers and visitors.
Therefore, we ask that business owners and their
employees please follow the city’s parking
guidelines:
Everyone who works in downtown
Naperville is required to purchase a Central
Business District (CBD) parking permit. Permits
may be purchased for $5.00 from the finance office
at the City of Naperville. (Most employers purchase
multiple permits and provide them free of charge to
their employees). The finance office is located on
the first floor at the Municipal Center, 400 S.
Eagle Street; (630) 420- 4116.
We also strongly encourage business
owners to set a good example for their employees by
also parking in the designated areas.
CBD parking permits authorize
employees to park all day in the following locations
(look for the “CBD Parking” sign in the designated
spots):
-
Designated spots
on the upper levels (3rd,
4th, 5th
levels) of Van Buren Parking
Deck (enter the deck from either
Benton Ave. or Van Buren Ave.)
-
Designated spots
on the upper level of the
Chicago Avenue Parking Deck
(enter the deck from Jefferson
Avenue to reach the top level)
-
Designated spots
in the parking lot at the
Municipal Center, 400 S. Eagle
St.
-
Designated spots
in the surface lot on the east
and south sides of Central Park.
Employees who do
not comply with these parking requirements
will find their cars ticketed and possibly
towed after multiple violations. |
