Endorsements for the November 2, 2010 General Election
The Naperville Area
Chamber Political Action Committee (NACPAC) has voted to
endorse several incumbent local and legislative elected
officials—one new candidate for county board chairman,
current State Senator Dan Cronin (R Elmhurst, Ill.) and,
a slate of candidates for the Will County Board
representing South Naperville.
The legally separate political corporation of the
Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce, NACPAC is endorsing
eight candidates in all and taking a position on one
ballot question in advance of the upcoming elections.
“In every race we endorsed the candidates that we
believe will look out for the interests of businesses,
foster economic development and support free
enterprise,” said Dennis Culloton, vice chairman of
NACPAC. “Given the state of the economy, the state
government budget and cash-strapped local governments,
we hope all citizens will consider our take on where the
candidates stand on the issues that impact job creation
and business growth.”
The endorsed candidates are:

"We believe
that the institution of ward based elections for the
City Council
will create an incentive and environment for
increased taxes, spending and debt."
