The YPN is the spring board for young professionals to meet and build a network of local business and civic leaders. Our son, Brian Schultz, was killed by a drunk driver 01/01/05. He was an active member of YPN. We saw that the active, social and youthful membership of the YPN was a positive fit for our 28 year old son. As you grow up your group is identified within your school and your graduating class. Once you are finished with school and are in the work force it is good to be identified with a group of people your age. The YPN gives you that opportunity to network with your age group. It gives you a chance to be social, encourages business relationships, and fosters camaraderie. The YPN gave Brian an instant group of young people to network with. His bright smile, positive energy, and powerful personality gave way to many lasting friendships within the YPN. His slogan “Never Have a Bad Day” exemplifies how he led with a positive attitude. Through the YPN he was able to meet so many people with similar positive philosophies. By sponsoring the YPN it is our hope that others may derive the same benefits our son Brian Schultz did.
