Although a business owner in Naperville since 2005, Mike has been working in the heating and air conditioning field since he was 16. His dad owned a heating and air conditioning business on the south side where he worked for several years before moving to DuPage County. He has since worked for a few other companies in the area, both as a Service Technician and as a Service Manager, doing residential and commercial work. He then decided it was time to branch out on his own as the business practices did not always coincide with his values. He feels the quality of service and installation should be the top priority in an HVAC company. In 2005, he made owning and running his own business a reality.
Thus far having great success in business, he credits his entire team, the community, and, in particular, the Chamber for taking his business forward. With such great experiences, it is his passion to help others utilize the resources and relationships the chamber provides to grow their businesses and help them be effective assets to the community.
Personally, he and his wife are co-owners of Dutchman Heating and Cooling, Inc. They have been married for 29 years and have been a part of the Naperville community for 24 years. They have raised their 3 kids in the Naperville schools and park district.
They have been blessed and believe in giving back through service and financial support of their church and several charities. Mike serves as deacon and chair of trustees and helps out with the church sound system.
