I came into this role in 2014 and committed to five years. I was determined to grow the organization by engaging our future leaders, staying focused on legislative issues that impact our business community, updating our technology, and programming. We have grown our Young Professionals Network exponentially and hired a full-time Director of Government Affairs to make sure we’re updated locally, regionally and federally. We raised $250,000 (over two years) to enhance our technology and improve communication systems both internally and externally.
We’ve created opportunities to listen to you starting with our 12@12, Around the Chamber in 80 days and currently, Coffee and Conversation. It’s vital to learn what we can do better to be your best advocate and resource.
It is not easy to leave, which says a lot about how positive my time here has been. This organization is truly set up for a bright future. We have a strong board, excellent succession plan and selection committee, great team and endless opportunities for the next CEO. I have no doubt we will find the perfect leader to move this organization forward. We have a solid mission committed to your success.
As for me, where am I going, what am I doing next? I have an idea on things that matter to me and areas that are my strength, so who knows? Stay tuned. Thank you for your support over the last 5 1/2 years. Thank you for being great members and understanding the value of a chamber of commerce. Despite my departure, I hope you’ll stay in touch. Thanks to social media, we can keep up with each other. Thank you for the opportunity. It’s been amazing.
The NACC will begin accepting applications on July 8th for the position. If you or someone you know might be the visionary leader we’re looking for, please let them know about this opportunity.

Thank you being part of a wonderful experience.
