Through a specialized approach to marketing for small to medium-sized businesses, VisionFriendly.com has become a trusted source for effective web design, search marketing, and content strategy for the Chicagoland area and beyond.
Starting out as a web designer in the early 2000’s Eric found it exceedingly common to find businesses that did not have a clear message to go with the design and marketing collateral that they put out there. So he began consulting these businesses with the purpose of creating simple and effective stories for each business to drive to their audience. Working to separate VisionFriendly’s approach from other marketing firms that only focus on driving traffic. Instead, VF started driving both traffic and conversions through a better approach to messaging and a review of the entire conversion process – because businesses deserve effective marketing!
In his 16 years with VisionFriendly Eric has worked with nearly every industry imaginable and has produced strategies for over 2500+ websites. Eric’s specialty is to understand each business’s challenges so that he can provide solutions custom-fit to that organization’s needs. He is also responsible for the day-to-day operation of VF, managing the company’s staff and partnerships, while still finding time to give consultation for each partner he works with.
Over the years he has expanded his knowledge base to include the study of varied areas including search engine optimization, ADA website accessibility requirements, user-experience psychology, business leadership, and more.
Eric lives in Yorkville with his wife Julie and 2 kids. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, making music, camping, biking, and getting away from technology when possible.
