More than 400 engineering students are expected at the 2019 Fall Job and Internship Fair hosted by the Northern Illinois University’s (NIU) College of Engineering and Engineering Technology, where as many as 70 local manufacturing companies will turn out to recruit for full-time and part-time jobs, co-ops, and internships.nnThe event, which is open to the NIU students, will be held on Thursday, Oct. 17 from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Holmes Student Center, 340 Carroll Ave in DeKalb.nn“NIU is a great pipeline for employees for Collins Aerospace,” said Chris Griffiths, Executive Director of Program Development for Collins Aerospace of Rockford. “The quality of the students from NIU always continues to impress.
