Get to Know Your Candidates

Last month, I focused on the April Consolidated elections and how important it is to educate yourself on the candidates and to vote. Local elections have a big impact on your bottom line and your ability to do business.  Often, these elections are decided by just a few votes. The NACC recognizes how important it is for our Members to understand the impact of our local elections, and as a result, we are hosting the “Naperville Candidate Forum” on February 22nd at the Naperville Public Library – 95th Street location.

We are pleased to see the commitment to be present, as every candidate for City Council and the Mayoral election will participate.  Attendees start with a ‘speed-meeting’ style one-on-one with Naperville City Council candidates from 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm. If you’ve attended something like this in the past, you know it is effective and fun! Registrants will have an opportunity to move quickly from one City Council candidate to another. This is a great chance to find out where the candidates stand on the issues important to you and your business.

A more formal Q & A will take place from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm with our Naperville Mayoral candidates.   When you register, we are asking for you to submit questions to be considered for the mayoral candidates.

The Naperville Candidate Forum runs from 5:00 pm -7:00 pm and is FREE and open to all Chamber Members who register online.
