Getting Back into the Swing of Things

I’m very excited. I cannot wait to see all of you live and in person at our first in-person event in months. Our Annual Golf Outing will take place at Springbrook Golf Course on Monday, September 14. To ensure that the event is a safe success, we have implemented many safety precautions in accordance with the Center for Disease Control and Illinois Department of Public Health guidelines. We will have masks and hand sanitizer on site and have moved the format to accommodate distance by offering designated tee times instead of a shotgun start.

Our signature events are made possible because of the generosity and hard work of our many sponsors. Our Presenting Sponsor, Busey Bank, is a new sponsor for the Chamber this year. Having heard about our Golf Outing event through a Chamber email, they chose to invest in the Members of the NACC to make this event a success.

Speaking of investing – many not-for-profits like the Chamber often ask for your time, talents, or treasures.

I’m asking you to invest your time (and talent – depending on your handicap) by attending our Golf Outing.

I am also asking for your treasures by asking you to invest in the Chamber, so that we can continue to provide you with unmatched programs, advocacy and business/ professional development.

In addition, I have begun the process of asking for your talents. Be on the lookout for an email from our Chairman, Ian Holzhauer about how you can nominate a highly-qualified candidate to serve on our Board of Directors in 2021. We will begin accepting applications for our Board of Directors in September and we hope to see many new faces willing to contribute to our mission of moving Business Forward.

I want to thank you for your continued investment and support of the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce.

I look forward to seeing you at the tee box on Monday, September 14.

Just remember… be the ball.

Business Forward,

Kaylin
