Q: Describe your business and what you do.
I am the owner of Advanced Health of Naperville and the Founder of The Branch Moms Community. I love that in both of my businesses I am able to help people. At AHN, it is through chiropractic, massage and physical therapy, with The Branch it is through sharing mom resources and making sure moms don’t feel alone!
Q: What do you love most about your work?
The people. My team. Our patients. Our members. It never amazes me how many incredible people I am blessed to be surrounded by.
Q: What led you down your career path?
I had a springboard injury when I was 17. After a few years of severe back pain, chiropractic changed my life. It only took two weeks of care for me to decide I wanted to become a chiropractor. For The Branch, I took over Naperville Moms Network from Kelli Thompson, its original founder in 2011. She actually worked at NACC and that is how I met her! She got transferred to Texas and I took over the community as a passion project having no idea it would turn into The Branch and my life’s work!
Q: What advice do you have for other women in business?
You are smarter than you know. Trust your gut. Do your research. Take risks. Give yourself grace. Learn to say no. Find your people. And, sometimes just take a nap.
Q: Name someone in your life who inspires you and tell us why.
My kids. At 21 & 22, I love watching them become their own people and see them bloom into adulthood! Hard to believe that they were little babies I held in my arms way back when!
Q: What other passions and hobbies do you have?
I love to travel. Beach location preferred! There is just something about my toes in white sand and the blue ocean surrounding you! I am thankful that my husband and I can work remotely when I need a little trip away!
Q: Aside from the Chamber, how do you stay connected within the Naperville community?
I joined NACC the day I started my business and it has been an instrumental part of my life for 26 years now! I stay connected via The Branch and all of our local Facebook groups, events and more! I am proud of all we do in the community and I know we make a difference!

Dr. Cathy Subber is the mom of two with a passion to build community. She is the owner of Advanced Health of Naperville, a chiropractic and physical therapy clinic that has been serving patients of all ages since 1999. Her practice specializes in a cranial adjustment that Dr. Cathy learned from a doctor from England that helps with nursing/feeding issues, sinus/ear issues, dizziness, headaches, TMJ and more. Her practice has been called The Happy Place to Heal which is evident by the laughter you hear while you are being cared for in her office.
Dr. Cathy is also the Founder of The Branch Moms Community, which was founded as Naperville Moms Network in 2009 and rebranded in 2019, as it expanded into other towns. The Branch is the best place for moms to connect, make new friends and find local resources. Its mission is to make sure that local moms never feel alone in their journey of motherhood. In her free time, Cathy tapes a podcast called Socket ~ Plug Into You!
