Ho Ho Ho – That’s a Lot of Dough!

‘Tis the season for giving!   Along with holiday décor, shopping, and all the commitments, money is at the top of a lot of people’s minds during this hustle-and-bustle time of year. Did someone say ‘inflation?!’  Luckily, the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce has some holiday tips to share in order to help you get the most return on your Chamber investments and hopefully help you hang onto some of that precious dough – and we don’t mean the gingerbread variety.

In the spirit of giving thanks, current Members may be eligible for a FREE social media post (valued at $100) when referring a newly joined business to the Chamber. In order to qualify for this savings, one of two conditions must be met — either the new potential Member must include the referring Member’s information on their NACC Membership Application or the referring Member must reach out directly to us with a ‘warm’ introduction, connecting membership@naperville.net with the interested party, ahead of the Membership application.  This process is in place to allow Chamber staff to appropriately track this information.  There is no cap on the number of social media posts that may be earned this way. If there are any questions about this process, please reach out to me, Sarah Catarozzoli Andrusyna, for more details.

The Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce also encourages support of small and local businesses and especially of Chamber businesses.  By visiting the Member-to-Member Offers on our homepage, Chamber Members may unlock advantageous shopping discounts to help with holiday shopping sprees. Furthermore, perusing and selecting destinations from the Business Directory ahead of a shopping trip will help promote and support the businesses of the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce.

Lastly, as this year draws to a close, the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce – a 501(c)6 Organization — would like to remind Members to be sure to mention this tax information about your NACC investment to your accountant. Tax deductions do apply, and accountants are aware of the 95% deductibility of Chamber investments, including specific Membership fees. And, if you have unused marketing dollars from 2023, please consider sponsoring one of our upcoming events, like NACC The Black Tie Gala, on January 19, 2024. As often is the case, when those budgeted marketing dollars aren’t used, they’re gone for good!

The Naperville Area Chamber is here to help you make the most of your Membership – and your holiday season.
