James Beard Award-winning Chef Marc Vetri Comes to Lisle ($65)

Founders Master Istruttore Leo Spizzirri and Chef Instructor Anthony Iannone are pleased to welcome James Beard Award-winning chef and cookbook author Marc Vetri to the Academy for a demo, book signing and pizza party Wednesday, May 8, at 6:30 p.m. Vetri, owner of Vetri Cucina in Philadelphia and Las Vegas, will do a chef demo with Spizzirri, before signing copies of his new cookbook “Mastering Pizza: The Art and Practice of Handmade Pizza, Focaccia and Calzone.” Pizzas from the book, such as Mortadella Rotolo, Zucchini Pizza and Pizza al Taglio will be served throughout the evening at the Academy, 1970 University Lane. Tickets are $65 per person and may be purchased at www.pizzaculinaryacademy.com. Price includes a copy of the cookbook to be personalized and signed.
