LITTLE FRIENDS HOLDS ANNUAL PARADE OF LIGHTS THROUGH DOWNTOWN NAPERVILLE

Little Friends, in partnership with the Downtown Naperville Alliance, will hold their annual Parade of Lights through downtown Naperville on Saturday, December 1 at 7:00 pm. Parade goers will enjoy an evening of festivities, brightly lit floats, and musical entertainment. Immediately following the parade, Santa and Mrs. Claus will visit with kids inside the Santa House on the Riverwalk until 9:00 pm.nnThe Parade will travel through the heart of downtown under the beautiful twinkling lights. Parade viewing will be sparkling anywhere along the parade route. Launching from Jackson Avenue at Mill Street, the Parade will head east down Jackson, turning north on Main Street. The parade will conclude at Main Street and Van Buren Avenue. nnIt is strongly recommended that spectators take advantage of newly created remote parking options. Buses will transport attendees from parking at Yellow Box Community Christian Church, 1635 Emerson Lane; Wheatland Salem Church 1852, 95th Street; and Naperville North High School, 899 N Mill St, with drop off at the Naperville Municipal Center to access parade viewing . Pick up routes to downtown will run between 5:00-7:00pm. Return routes to the remote locations will run between 8:00-9:30pm. Remote parking shuttle maps are available on the Little Friends website, www.littlefriendsinc.org. TukTuk and other alternative transportation into the downtown area is also suggested due to anticipated crowds. nnCity Deck, Central Parking Deck, Van Buren or the Water Street parking decks will offer the additional parking choices, along with parking lots.
