Ed Bonifas is an Owner and Executive Vice President at Alarm Detection Systems, Inc. (ADS). He has spent 45 years growing the company into one of the largest privately-held companies in the United States and a significant employer in Aurora, Illinois.
An active voice in the security industry, Ed has been a Monitoring Association board member for several years and has chaired several committees during his tenure. He is a member of the American Society of Industrial Security, the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), and Building Officials and Code Administrators Int’l. He is a member of the NFPA Technical Committee on Supervising Station Fire Alarm Systems.
