With 43 years of experience in the Collision Repair Industry, Tim has held positions from collision repair technician, body shop manager for a dealership, collision repair facility owner, educator, and director of collision repair at a Nationally Accredited Technical College. Equipment distribution of structural repair equipment for the past 21 years, holding positions of Technical, Training, Sales Director,General Manager, and Managing Director of North American Operations and Globally.
Marketing experience includes brochures, product videos, new product development and roll-out, and promotional events. Education experience includes design, implementation, and certification of a global education program to include e-learning. Sales experience includes sales of products to end-users, and OEM manufacturer approval. Special projects include solicit, presentation, negotiation, implementation of major training outsource projects for major vehicle manufacturers for over 750K income. Responsible and signer procuring contract to supply 3.0 Mil USD of an In-Kind donation of equipment for held in Calgary Canada 2009 (WorldSkills 2009 Collision Repair Technology). With a background in LEAN based activities directed to structural repair, I have successfully launched training and sales activities to support OEM Based Repairs, and LEAN Operations in process design, product operation, and educational activities. International activities include the implementation of education and sales activities in Asia. Technical abilities include assisting OEM manufactures on proper repair technique, and design of repair strategies to meet OEM demand.
Specialties: Global experience in the equipment distribution business as it relates to Collision Repair of Automotive and Commercial Vehicles. With technical experience both ‘hands-on’ and intellectual in repairs to aluminum and exotic metals. Implemented several sales-oriented and educational programs to promote LEAN products and services to these areas.
