Kaylin Risvold

President & CEO

Kaylin Risvold has the privilege of working alongside a dedicated team at the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce. Guided by the Board of Directors, the team focuses on moving Business Forward—toward a more engaged, thriving community by serving as Your Business Resource and Your Business Advocate for Our Community. It’s a community Kaylin feels grateful to have grown up in—and proud to now call home. After earning degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science from the University of Missouri, she launched her career in television news—reporting from local newsrooms in the Midwest, East Coast, and West Coast. After returning to Illinois, Kaylin shifted into nonprofit work, spending six years with the Alzheimer’s Association Illinois Chapter, where she combined her communication background with a passion for service. Kaylin earned a Master of Leadership Studies from North Central College while working full-time and raising two children under the age of two—marking a personal milestone as the first in her extended family to earn a graduate degree. In 2019, Kaylin joined the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce as President & CEO. Under her leadership, the team navigated the challenges of a global pandemic, earned 5-star reaccreditation from the U.S. Chamber, and was named Outstanding Chamber of the Year by the Illinois Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives. Known for her authenticity and energy, Kaylin thrives on big ideas, meaningful connections, and a commitment to service. She has been recognized as part of ACCE’s 40 Under 40 (2023), as a Daily Herald Most Influential Person in Business (2022), and as a C-Suite Honoree (2020). She and her husband, John—a trial attorney and elected commissioner with the Naperville Park District—live in Naperville with their three children and dog, Malla.
