‘Tis the season of giving and every year we can’t wait to spread the love to those who give back to our community the most – our Not-For-Profit Members!
During the month of November, we devote our social channels to bringing awareness to the work of our not-for-profit organizations by featuring them in our #NFPAwareness social media campaign.
This year, nine not-for-profit organizations participated in the campaign by submitting content for a social post that would be featured across our Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram. Some organizations – like Loaves & Fishes Community Services, and DuPagePads – asked for their posts to be featured around #GivingTuesday, which promotes acts of kindness of any size. Other not-for-profits tailored their promotion to an impactful story showcasing their mission and community success. St. Patrick’s Residence, for example, shared a touching story of a family’s decision to seek nursing home care and the positive impact it had on their loved one.
To gain more understanding of not-for-profit organizations, the Chamber also included an assortment of statistical information and powerful quotes that shared the value of giving back to those who need a lending hand. Below, you can see a few of the social media graphics:
We are tremendously proud of the over 100 not-for-profit Members we have in the Chamber and all the good they do. We’re honored to showcase them in this small way and show our social community how much value our not-for-profits add to the community.
