Pam Bartlett

Gottfried Woman of the Quarter Q&A

Q: Describe your business and what you do.

Pam Bartlett is the owner and operator of Pinot’s Palette – Naperville, a premier paint-and-sip studio located in downtown Naperville. With a passion for creativity, community, and connection, Pam has built a thriving business where guests can relax, explore their artistic side, and share memorable experiences together.

Q: What do you love most about your work?

I love seeing the joy people have when they see their completed paintings, especially after previously commenting, “I can’t even draw a stick figure.”

Q: What led you down your career path?

I was ready for a new chapter and wanted to do something that combined creativity with community. Painting had always been a relaxing hobby for me, and I saw an opportunity to turn that passion into something bigger. What started as a love for art grew into a business where people can connect, unwind, and share meaningful experiences.

Q: What advice do you have for other women in business?

Creativity and courage go hand in hand. Every bold brushstroke—whether on a canvas or in business—starts with believing in yourself. Support other women, celebrate progress over perfection, and never lose sight of the joy in what you do

Q: Name someone in your life who inspires you and tell us why.

I’m inspired by the amazing women entrepreneurs in Naperville who lead with passion, creativity, and heart. They balance business, family, and community while still supporting one another. Their collaboration and generosity remind me why I love being part of this community—it’s full of strong women who make Naperville shine.

Q: What other passions and hobbies do you have?

I love reading, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. Exploring new places and stories inspires my creativity, and I’m happiest when I’m connecting, learning, and sharing meaningful moments with the people I love.

Q: Aside from the Chamber, how do you stay connected within the Naperville community?

I stay involved through the Downtown Naperville Alliance, where I help support events and initiatives that keep our downtown vibrant and welcoming. Pinot’s Palette also offers canvas painting at many community events and art projects that bring people together. Supporting and connecting with others is one of the most rewarding parts of being a business owner in Naperville.
