Mario Lambert is a purpose-driven leader who believes that when done right, business can be a catalyst for good in the world. As Chairman of the Board for the NACC, Mario is committed to advancing the Chamber’s mission of moving business forward through advocacy, community engagement and succession planning.  Professionally, Mario serves as Vice President of Business Development at Populus Group, a nationally recognized workforce solutions and project services firm.

Beyond his corporate and Chamber roles, Mario is a trusted speaker, leadership coach, and consultant. He partners with nonprofits and growing organizations to develop high-performance teams who communicate with value. His workshops and keynotes focus on influential leadership, team dynamics, and transforming workplace culture.  His leadership is rooted in integrity, inclusion, and a deep commitment to helping others reach their full potential.

Mario is also deeply involved in causes close to his heart, including autism advocacy and supporting under-resourced communities. He believes in the power of servant leadership and strives to live out his faith through his work, relationships, and community service.

A proud Chicago sports fan and University of Illinois alum (ILL-INI!), Mario has been married for over 20 years and is a devoted father of three. Known for positive energy and authenticity, he brings a fun and galvanizing spirit to every room he enters.
