Welcome to a New Year & New Decade

2020 is here, and oh is it going to be ROARING!
We just wrapped our annual Gala, The Roaring 20Twenties on Friday, January 10th and it was wonderful to see so many Members and friends celebrate the start of the new year at the Chamber with such fervor and fun.  The energy at the Gala was tremendous and we want to use that energy as fuel to sustain us as we begin to navigate a year filled with many new ideas and exciting projects to execute.  Let me start by telling you a few things that have ALREADY happened in 2020.

New Year, New Vision
The Strategic Plan Task Force has been charged with coming up with a new strategic plan to start on July 1st. The task force has already met, and I am eager to share updates with you as we move along in the process.  A key person helping us along in the process is our new NACC Board Chair, Ian Holzhauer. Ian is an attorney at Nagle Obarski PC and has been a valuable addition to our Chamber community.  I look forward to his leadership of our board.

Moving on Up
We have had some promotions at the office. Suzie Pschirrer has been given a promotion as Executive Member Engagement Coordinator.  Suzie will be working with Executive Premier, President’s Circle and Chairman’s Circle Members to make sure they are fully utilizing the many components of their member benefits.  In an effort to make sure all of our Members are getting the best use of their membership, we hired Danielle Blake as our Engagement Coordinator to work with Supporting, Classic and Premier Members. Danielle comes to us with a wealth of Chamber experience and I am sure you will love her enthusiasm as much as we do. And many of our Members know Jessica Hall is an asset to our organization.  Jessica is now our Director of Member Services and Sales and will be over seeing both Danielle Blake and Suzie Pschirrer.

Updates
Our staff isn’t the only aspect of NACC getting a new look – our office is getting its upgrade, as well. The work on our Executive Conference Room, and Conference Room A is now complete. We will host a ribbon-cutting in MARCH to appropriately “show it off” and demonstrate the great technology each room has to offer. Thank you to all who participated in the Future Forward campaign and helped make these needed improvements possible.

Email & Social
Our announcements could be daily, but we try to keep them harnessed to a few times a month.  Make sure your email information is updated in our system to receive The Current, as well as our other important news updates.  We are ACTIVE on social media as well, and we encourage you to follow and participate in our conversations on FacebookTwitter and LinkedIn.

I wish for you to have a prosperous and fulfilling New Year and oh, let’s not forget to keep ROARING as you Business Forward in 2020!

– Kaylin
